Sherlock
Sherlock
Sherlock is able to engage with other dogs but requires consistent guidance, particularly around calmer, more gentle companions. He shows social interest and will offer play bows; however, his interactions can quickly escalate to mounting behavior. While he is responsive to handler redirection, he can be persistent. During play, he has nipped at other dogs’ hindquarters and necks, leading to avoidance behaviors from the group. Due to the need for frequent intervention, Sherlock was eventually moved to a separate yard, where he settled more appropriately. He would benefit from continued socialization and basic manners training. Sherlock is currently undergoing URI treatment and will need to exit unaltered with a deposit. An adult-only home is recommended, along with placement as the only dog in the household are recommended
