Marla
Marla
Rescue Only due to handling sensitivity and lack of socialization.
In playgroups . Her eyes were wide, her ears were pinned back, and she panted and yawned anxiously. She did not interact with the other dogs when they approached her, but did not seem to mind the presence of another calm dog who sat near her for the majority of this playgroup session. Marla is tolerant of the other dogs, has a low energy level, and does not have a playstyle at this time.
During her handling Marla did not growl or try to bite, but was unable to settle during the assessment. Her body remained tense, her eyes were wide, her mouth was tightly closed, and her tail was tucked. When the assessment was over, she scurried away from the handler and would not approach when called.
