This 10-year-old neutered Chihuahua mix is a resilient senior seeking a patient and loving home. During his examination, he was nervous but remained bright, alert, responsive (BAR), and appropriate with handling.
He has several manageable medical conditions, including mild left hind limb lameness, missing digits on his left paw, severe dental disease with multiple missing teeth, a mass on his right hip that should be monitored, and mild skin changes (alopecia and erythema). He is being placed on a Health Waiver, and his adopter or rescue should arrange follow-up care with their veterinarian for orthopedic, dental, and evaluation of the hip mass.
